
Sherri Lind Hughes joined ACE in June 2016. She oversees the Council’s flagship leadership development offering, the ACE Fellows Program, along with the Institute for New Chief Academic Officers and the ACE Leadership Academy for Department Chairs, and contributes to program curriculum and content for ACE Leadership.
Hughes was most recently provost and vice president for academic affairs and enrollment management at Marymount University (VA). Prior to her tenure at Marymount, she held a variety of positions at McDaniel College (MD), including dean of graduate and professional studies. She joined the McDaniel psychology faculty in 1989, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses and earned tenure in 1995.
Hughes holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Davidson College (NC) and a master’s and doctorate, both with a specialization in industrial/organizational psychology, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
