Steven Taylor is director of ACE’s Center for Education Attainment and Innovation and leads national initiatives on effective teaching, quality assurance, and flexible learning pathways. Through his work, Taylor promotes strategies and solutions for postsecondary success that recognize all types of learning. He is the principal investigator on three major postsecondary education grants:

  • Evaluating and Quality Assuring Post-Secondary Pedagogy (Strada Education Network)
  • A Digital Innovation Initiative to Create a Learner-Centered Record that Recognizes Workforce-Relevant Competencies and Skills Attainment (Lumina Foundation)
  • Alternative Credit Project™ (Gates Foundation)

Taylor is an adjunct instructor in the College of Business at Wilmington University (DE) where he teaches and develops courses on experiential learning, training and development, and organizational development. He has worked for over a decade designing and delivering leadership development programs for students, university faculty and staff, and industry executives and professionals. His experience includes roles at the University of North Texas, Texas A&M University-Commerce and Richland College, the largest campus in the Dallas County Community College District.
